ONLINE PRIVACY
STATEMENT: The Bioexpertise Network is committed to respecting
your privacy. We've structured our websites so that, in general,
you can use their functionalities without identifying yourself,
except for your e-mail address. If you should choose to provide
us personally identifiable information (for example, by writing
us a letter), you can be assured that it will only be used to
support your relationship with Bioexpertise, Inc.
Bioexpertise
employs a proprietary ANONYMS (TM) privacy architecture (see
below) that allows individuals to protect their real-world identity
from third-party access while enjoying the benefits of a personalized
website providing relevant content.
Bioexpertise
provides this Online Privacy Statement to make you aware of our
privacy policy and practices and of the choices you can make
about the way your information is collected and used. In order
to tailor our subsequent communications to you and continuously
improve our database, we may ask you to voluntarily provide us
with information regarding your job experience and preferences.
The Bioexpertise Network uses your information to better understand
your needs and provide you with better service.
Bioexpertise
Inc. will not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable
information to others. Unless we have your permission or are
required by law, we will not share the data you provide online
with third parties, except in aggregate. Bioexpertise is committed
to ensuring the security of your information. To prevent unauthorized
access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use
of information, we have put in place appropriate procedures to
safeguard and secure the information we collect online. If you
have comments or questions about our privacy policy, please send
them to the contact address posted on our websites.
GENERAL DISCLAIMER:
Bioexpertise is not engaged in rendering professional advice
to users through its websites regarding clinical treatments,
choice of career, professional skills, or other similar information.
Your permission to use the Bioexpertise Network and its resources
is conditional on your acceptance of the above terms. By using
the resources on this Network, you indicate your understanding
that Bioexpertise, Inc. will accept no liability of any kind
under any circumstances whatsoever, related to the information
collected and disseminated through this site.
TERMS OF USE:
By using this site you are agreeing to be bound by all the terms
and conditions of the most current version of the user agreement
and any guidelines and rules posted on this site. For a detailed
description of the Terms of Use, please click here.
AGE REQUIREMENT:
You must be 18 years or older to participate in the Bioexpertise
Network surveys.
ANONYMS: The
Bioexpertise Network of sites uses a proprietary ANONYMS privacy
architecture. ANONYMS was designed to separate the transaction-related
disclosure of one's identity from the private application of
personalization. For example, when you are online you may wish
to see a targeted selection of content that suits your interests.
On other web sites, the providers of that content (such as vendors,
publishers, and prospective employers) may provide you with such
content only after they have collected personally identifiable
information from you. You may not be comfortable sharing this
type of information with them, particularly since you do not
know how it might be used by them in the future. Could they sell
this information to other vendors? Your employer? Your bank?
Will you receive unsolicited junk mail?
For a variety
of reasons, users may be reluctant to allow themselves to be
profiled online. But personalization can also bring tremendous
advantages to users. Rather than being overwhelmed with random
information, they can see a limited selection of content and
functionality tailored to their private needs.
ANONYMS allows
users to have the best of both worlds: They can travel anonymously
while seeing personalized content. There is virtually no chance
of their preferences ever being associated with their real-world
identities. ANONYMS acts as an impartial broker, matching personal
preferences with content. Third parties do not have access to
individual information. Even ANONYMS does not know the real-world
identity of the individual behind each profile.
